Desert, and 1200c.c. outlaw sprint cars for 5 years. 2 wins
How did you get into racing?
college room mate sold me a 1968 bultaco 250. broke the front off my first race.
What's on your playlist (favorite music)?
Dancing, top hwy 16 country. Lstening ,classic rock. Almost anything goes as long as it stays music.
What do you do when you're not working or racing?
Art fanatic and collector, restore vintage motocross bikes. help kids locally, and train and train
What makes you who you are?
high school sports were a let down, so my mentor was a famous uncle who raced cars. growing up on a farm and being able to cut loose anytime.
Anything else we should know?
Approximately 300 wins in 4 states, over 1500 races. AMA pro licensed from 1978-1984 as no. 389. Qualified at one 500 national, tried numerous others. Invited to the United states Gran Prix at Carlsbad in 1979, was injured at the time. First rider in these parts to Dominate the 500cc bikes considered to be the premier class on a 250cc Vickery Yamaha in 1983. I have been a Vickery rider since 1978. A time when every class was dominated by team riders. 15 state titles and have went through 50-60 Yamahas. Other Sponsors, Oury grips, Decal racing, No Fear, Excell, Procircuit, Scott, RaceTech, Regina, One Industries, Belray oils, and Dunlop tires.
